Practising English
English Conversational Club (ECC) is a place for newcomers to practice English conversational skills in a small group setting and to connect, interact and build relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
Each week GPCN volunteers will help guide you through a variety of topics based on your interests such as confidence building and Canadian current events. Student can share their perspectives, culture, and viewpoints in a cozy and informal atmosphere.

The English Conversation Club meets every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for one and half hour session throughout the year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Groups).
Due to COVID-19 safety protocols there are no drop-ins and registration is required.
All levels of English are welcomed.

GPCN offers the opportunity to serve the community through the English Conversational Club. As a volunteer, you will help newcomers to improve their language skills with activities designed to prompt the participants to speak up and gain confidence.

How Do I Enrol in LINC Program?
Funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada, LINC provides free English Language Instruction to permanent residents and protected persons of Canada.
